Jaipur is located in the east of the Rajasthan State, in the northeast of India, the capital of Rajasthan state, and capital of Jaipur District. Jaipur is also known as the “Pink City” because the city was built of pink stucco in imitation of sandstone, is the largest city of the Rajasthan State. The city is surrounded by Sikar and Alwar in the north, by Tonk, Ajmer and SawaiMadhopur in the South, by Nagaur, Sikar and Ajmer in the west and by Bharattpur and Dausa in the east. Jaipur is located to 262 kilometers from Delhi by road.

Jaipur was the first city planned, founded in 1727 by Mahara Sawi Jai Singh II, famous mathematician and astronomer y and ruler from Amber, and planned by Vidhyadhar Bhattacharya, a Bengali architect, in a grid system with wide straight avenues, roads, streets and lanes and uniform rows of shops on either side of the main bazaars, all arranged in nine rectangular city sectors. The city is wonderful by its colored streets and its monuments, many sightseeing places exist in Jaipur such as Jantar Mantar, Observatory, Olympian Palace and the Janana Mahals, those buildings show the incredibly talent of the raja and other architects that worked in the construction of the first city planned of the northern India, and other marvel is the Amber Fort and its mechanism for watering the sprawling acres in Ambar.

The Jaipur’s culture is amazing; the people keep yet their form of to dress, the turbans that identified each one of families from Jaipur, and woman are dressed in their traditional attires with unique enameled jewelry, wear heavy lac bangles and have a unique tattoo on their arms and even chin.

The best time to visit Jaipur is in the winters, during September to March, is the better option, in this time the maximum temperature is 22 ºC, but in the night the temperature is cold generally low to 8.3 ºC, the summers is very hot the maximum temperature is in 45 ºC and the minimum 25.8 ºC, and monsoons aren’t problem, this is in the middle of September.
