Diwali


Diwali festival or also known as Deepawali is celebrated with jubilation and enthusiasm during five days, this Hindu festival in India occurs on the fifteenth day of Kartika. The festival begins on Aswayuja Bahula Chaturdasi and ends on Kartika Shudda Vijiya.

Diwali is the major Hindu festival, and during celebrations Indian homes are cleaned and windows are opened to welcome Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth. On the third day is celebrate the “Festival of Lights”, to mark this day people light diyas and candles all around their house, gifts are exchanged and sweets, festive meals are prepared during the festivity.
