Goa is a small State in the Western of Goa, with beautiful and wonderful places, it is attractive for the tourist; in fact, many foreign and local people go there by his beaches and sightseeing. The State is divided in two District; North Goa and South Goa, both with amazing places. The most important cities and towns are:

Panjim: is the capital of the State, located in the bank of the Mandovi River, to the east of the Goa State, the city has beautiful beaches, Gardens and Statues. The beaches are very popular and many European people go there especially in the winter of northern continent. Other attractions are the River Cruises that carry to the tourist by Sea and throughout the Mandovi River, and the festivals are very exciting and unique experience. Many beautiful building of the Portuguese style adorned the historical city of India.

Margao: is the capital of South Goa, located in Salcete Taluka, Margao is important cultural and trade center in Goa, same that Panjim, Margao has beautiful beaches and has important sightseeing, and its mansions with western architecture are wonderful buildings, churches and chapels in the colonial style are pretty places, and the city is the head quarters of south Goa District.

Vasco da Gama: is the most populated and largest city in Goa, located in the mouth of the Zuari River, to 30 kilometers from Panjim, it is also the gateway to the tourist that come to Goa, because there is located the International Dabolim Airport, and the Railway Terminus, this important city has also beautiful beaches and is near of the famous natural port Marmugao Harbor. Its sightseeing and festival are very important too, some of them are the Pilot Point, and the Japanese Garden.

Mapusa: is located in the north Taluka of Bardez to 13 kilometeres from Panjim, the National Highway 17 pass throughout the city. The city is important trade center, especially in the Mapusa Market of the Fridays that is very popular and crowded, it is important in the tourism industry because is near of the north Goa beaches, and is adorned with beautiful Churches and Gardens.

Marmugao Harbor: is located near of the Vasco da Gama city, is a beautiful natural harbor, this place was the first port of the Portuguese and based their operations in the emporium of the Goa City, now known as Old Goa. Usually the port is the first experience for the visitants to Goa, has incredible and amazing forts, Churches and beautiful buildings are built in the Jesuit Style.
